The queen of floral oils. The absolute does not contain all the waxes from the rose petals and is more of an oil than a waxy solid like the otto. Our absolute comes from the Centifolia species which has a deep and alluring aroma. The absolute produces an excellent massage oil for dry skin and soothes the mind instilling happy feelings. In the bath it relaxes and stimulates a feeling of contentment. The oil is used in very small amounts which offsets the expense. This Russian absolute exhibts a deep, darker side of rose, musky with good weight. Forms an excellent base for building upon.
